One week from today, we redpeppers (and a few kind redpepper friends) will be feeling the best we’ve felt in days—despite not having slept a wink in 24+ hours.
That’s right, folks. It’s CreateAthon time.
In case you haven’t heard by now, CreateAthon is an annual event during which redpepper closes shop for two days and works around the clock to give some very deserving nonprofits the tools they need to better share their stories. This year we’ll be focusing on four organizations from Nashville and Atlanta:
We’ll begin bright and early on Thursday with an 8:30 a.m. kickoff, then race through the night toward client presentations on Friday.
No one stops.
No one sleeps.
No one ever forgets the experience.
Because, although we certainly have lots of fun throughout the night, the truly defining CreateAthon moments come at the very end, when we get to share the work with each client. We’ll laugh a lot, cry a little and (although we’ve spent far too much time together by this point) even linger.
Finally, when the adrenaline starts wearing off and the energy drinks have run dry, we’ll reluctantly head home, with one last CreateAthon thought running through our woozy minds:
“I can’t wait until next year.”
